Comprehensive Medical Insurance:
Medical insurance is mandatory while being employed with Edelweiss Lodge and Resort. We offer a comprehensive health care insurance plan through AETNA. The medical/dental plan costs $57.93 ($54.38 no dental) every two weeks. The amount is deducted from your paycheck automatically if you opt to use this insurance. If you use your own insurance, you are required to provide proof that you are covered overseas for the duration of employment.
401 K:
This investment plan is available for employees. It’s never too early to start saving and you may roll your investments into another 401K or IRA when you leave.

Employees accrue vacation time and sick leave.
Tax Free American Shopping Center:

Recreation is an integral part of any effective team and we plan many extra activities for our staff. Bring teamwork, communication, problem solving and decision making to life. The variety of diversions to refresh and revitalize is the perfect combination for a successful team. Employee Housing:
As part of your employment, Edelweiss Lodge and Resort offers dorm style accommodations for a small fee ($30.00 a month) with communal bathrooms and kitchens. The majority of rooms are double occupancy. Housing is available to employees only; non-employed spouses may not reside in our housing facilities. Children or pets are not permitted to live in these facilities. Please note, housing is a privilege and may be revoked if an employee does not comply with the housing rules.
Standard Employee Room
Rooms are furnished with twin beds, wall lockers, end tables, desk, chair, sink and vanity mirrors. Electricity is 220 volts in the rooms while the community bathrooms do have both 220v and 110v systems. A $100 room deposit is required. Storage is very limited; please pack accordingly.
Amenities: Free Armed Forces Network (AFN) TV hook-up, utilities included, pay phones, vending machines, and coin operated laundry facilities throughout. Staff housing is also complete with an employee lounge and Resident Activities Center (see below).
Deposit: $100 is required as a security deposit, deducted from your paycheck in two pay period installments. The deposit will be returned after you pass inspection of your room at the end of your employment. New linen is available for $40 should you wish to purchase it here.
Resident Activities Center: Free Internet Access with five flat screen monitor computers, high-speed wireless connection point, CD Burner and digital camera card reader, fitness gym, convenience store, surround sound wide-screen home-movie theater, Xbox video game network, foosball table, ping pong table, training/study center, and bike shop.
Picnic Area: Outdoor basketball court, picnic tables and barbecue grills for those long summer days.
