The Vacation Village and Campgrounds offer a variety of accommodations, including deluxe cabins with special features and amenities, rustic cabins with most creature comforts, even campsites for those who want to really "rough it" under the stars. Nestled in the Loisach river valley with towering views of Alpine peaks, The Vacation Village Cabins are the perfect base camp for winter and summer recreation.
Check in and check out procedures for the cabins/campground will be at the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort. Tent and Gravel Campsites are closed from 1 Oct - 15 May 2008. The Vacation Village is located across the street from the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort on the Artillery Kaserne. It is between a 15 and 20 minute walk from the Vacation Village to the Edelweiss Resort.

Note: There are no phones or internet in the cabins. Pets are not allowed to stay in the Vacation Village cabins. A DSN phone is available at the vacation village office. Taxis are unable to enter the kaserne where the vacation village is located. It is a 10 minute walk to the entrance of the kaserne from the Resort. Edelweiss Lodge and Resort is located directly across the river. There is a pedestrian access gate in the back of the hotel for convenient access. Google Maps >

Campground (Open 15 May - 30 September)
Nestled under the Zugspitze in the Loisach river valley, Edelweiss Lodge and Resort campgrounds provides spacious camping under starry nights. Gravel sites with electricity are situated in aromatic pine needles with coal grills to add to those open atmosphere smells. Sites without electricity are also available in the Wilderness Area. A clean and comfortable restroom facility has private showers, men and women toilettes and laundry facilities for guests usage.
Please note the Vacation Village and campground is located across the street from the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort on the Artillery Kaserne. Access to the Edelweiss Resort is possible by walking to the main entrance. Google Maps >

Winter Season : All check in and check out procedures are done at the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort front desk.
Check in for vacation cabins is 1500, check out is 1000.

*Rates are for 1-4 people. Each additional adult per site or tent is $3.50 per night. Each additional child in $1.75 per night. Children 5 and under stay for free. Groups of 20 or more require a reservation for the group sites. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Pets are not allowed to stay in the Vacation Village Cabins. Advanced reservations required for all tent and gravel sites.

Cancellation Policy
Room reservations made more than 14 days in advance must cancel 7 days prior to arrival date. Vacation Village Cabin reservations made more than 14 days in advance must cancel 14 days prior to arrival date. Room reservations and Cabin reservations made less than 14 days in advance must cancel before 5pm the day prior to scheduled arrival date. Room reservations and cabin reservations made the day of the arrival must cancel before 5pm that day. Any reservations canceled under the given policy are issued a one night stay penalty fee to the given credit card or forfeit any deposits. Duty or medical documentation may be accepted to waive penalty fees. Cancellation policies differ with different program packages. Call the Vacation Planning Center (011-49)8821-9440 or email: vacation@edelweisslodgeandresort.com to find out specific information concerning your cancellation policy. If canceling after Vacation Planning Center business hours, please contact the front desk.

Sponsoring a non military ID card holder?
In accordance with military guidance, it is required that authorized guests who are sponsoring non military ID card holders must complete the IACS Online Form. Guests not included on the IACS roster will experience delays in gaining access to the resort. The information should be received no earlier than 30 days prior to arrival and no later than 7 days before arrival and provide the following information for each guest:
- Sponsors and Guests Official Full Name
- Sponsors and Guests Passport or Military ID Card Number
- Passport Nationality
- Dates which access is requested (check in and check out dates)
- Relationship of the individuals to the sponsor (examples):
- part of conference or group booked in sponsors name
- familly member of the sponsor
- personal guest of the sponsor

Wellness Club Policy
Guests staying at the campground are eligible to use THE POiNT Wellness Club located in the Edelweiss Lodge for a membership fee - Daily Adult $8, Youth $5. Guests staying in the Vacation Cabins may use the THE POiNT Wellness Club free of charge. |
