Neuschwanstein Castle

Neuschwanstein Castle

Towering over rocky crags at the foot of the Bavarian Alps rests the famous Neuschwanstein Castle, constructed for King Ludwig II. This fairytale castle has been inspiring awe and wonder for years with its ornate and lavish interior, along with a majestic design that even Walt Disney couldn’t resist. His Cinderella Castle draws inspiration from here. We will also make a stop at the Wieskirche, a beautiful pilgrimage church and UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s considered a perfect example of Bavarian rococo architecture.
