* 50% of the package will be charged at booking. The remaining 50% will be charged on the day of arrival. If you cancel within 30 days of the trip, you will forfeit your deposit. Valid for 18 years and older only. Flights MUST arrive at Munich Airport BEFORE 1100 hours on your package arrival date. Our coach departs MUC at 1200 hours (noon). Flights MUST depart Munich Airport NO EARLIER THAN 1200 hours (noon) on your package departure date. Our coach departs Edelweiss at 0700 hours. Flights outside these windows may require transportation at your own expense.Additional tours, meals, activities are not included. Valid for up to two adults per room.
Day 1
Bus will meet guests at Munich airport and depart at 1200 hours. Please ensure any flight you book gives you enough time to clear customs and get luggage and meet the team at 1200 hours. We will drive to Garmisch to check into Edelweiss Resort your new home away from home. Then we will have a welcome dinner reception where we will meet the other participants and you can ask questions of our Alpine Adventures representative.
Dinner will be either in Summit or Zuggy's Base Camp depending on our group business. Our new dining experiences will truly elevate the vacation experience and give you multiple options for incredible food during your stay.

On departure day, the private coach bus will depart Edelweiss Lodge and Resort at 0700 hrs. It is about 2 hours to the airport under normal traffic conditions. The package price includes the airport transfer ONLY on this select date and time. For your departure from Munich, please make sure that your flight leaves no earlier than 1200 on the departure day.
Wake up refreshed after a good night’s sleep and start easing into your new European time zone. Take your morning slow — enjoy our full breakfast buffet or grab a fresh pastry and coffee from the Summit for a lighter start.
Then join us for our Garmisch Orientation Walking Tour — a relaxed and informative stroll through the heart of this charming Alpine town. Along the way, our guide will share stories about Garmisch-Partenkirchen’s rich history, cultural traditions, and significant milestones. You’ll get insider tips on the best local spots for dining, shopping, and sightseeing — all from people who know and love this area.
After a few hours of exploring and getting your bearings, you’ll return to Edelweiss Lodge and Resort with plenty of time to relax and settle in. This easygoing first tour helps you shake off the jet lag, adjust to European time, and feel confident venturing out on your own throughout your vacation.
It’s the perfect first step to feeling like a local in Bavaria.
