Whether you're near or far from home, Thanksgiving at Edelweiss is an opportunity to gather with friends, family and fellow service members in the heart of the Bavarian Alps.
Our culinary team is going all out to prepare a holiday feast worth savoring. From chef-carved turkey and slow-roasted meats to a bountiful salad bar, savory sides and indulgent desserts made in-house, every dish is prepared with care to make the day truly special.
More than just a meal, this is an all-you-care-to-enjoy dining experience — a chance to slow down, share stories and enjoy a taste of home in Bavaria.
Thanksgiving Dinner Reservations
Thanksgiving Dinner reservations are now open. Due to high demand, we strongly recommend reserving your table early. When searching for reservations, be sure that Thanksgiving Day (Thursday 26 Nov) is selected, as the website automatically populates with the date the site is accessed.

Guests must be eligible to access Edelweiss Lodge and Resort to reserve a table for Thanksgiving Dinner. Eligible guests can sponsor non-ID card holders. E1 - E6 pricing applies only to the service member and does not extend to any accompanying guests.

Whether you're joining us for Thanksgiving Dinner, exploring a Christmas market or spending the entire holiday weekend in the Bavarian Alps, we look forward to celebrating with you at Edelweiss Lodge and Resort.
Get in the holiday spirit with a tree lighting ceremony with the beautiful Alps as the backdrop. Christmas carols, cookies and hot chocolate make for a festive evening.

Make a Weekend of It
Thanksgiving at Edelweiss is about more than dinner. Spend the holiday weekend exploring some of Europe's most beautiful Christmas markets, enjoying special events at the resort and experiencing the start of the holiday season in Bavaria.

Explore Swarovski Crystal Worlds before continuing to Innsbruck to experience the city's Christmas market surrounded by the Austrian Alps. Space on our guided tours is limited, and advance reservations are strongly recommended.
Hausberg Ski Lodge
The Zugspitze will likely be open for skiing and snowboarding on Friday, 27 November. That is still weather dependant for the 2026/2027 season. Our Hausberg Lodge will be open for lift tickets and rentals on 27 NOV - 29 NOV from 0800 - 1300 and 1500 - 1800 hours should the Zugspitze be open. Only the Zugspitze is open for skiing. There is skiing on the Austrian glaciers as well.
