Guests exceeding the weight limit should contact Alpine Adventures in advance to determine if a pilot with an alternative-sized parachute is available.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Experience the Bavarian Alps from above with an unforgettable tandem paragliding flight! Edelweiss works with Fly Garmisch to assist guests with booking this exciting alpine adventure.

Flights typically operate from May through October; however, the season and daily operations are entirely dependent on weather conditions. Flight time is approximately 15 minutes, with the entire experience taking approximately 1.5 hours, including travel to the meeting point, the cable car ride up the mountain, the flight, and return to the resort.

DAY OF FLIGHT

Guests must meet at the Edelweiss Gift Shop at 0740, dressed and ready to go.

At 0745, Alpine Adventures will contact the paragliding team to confirm whether flights are operating that day. Because paragliding is highly weather dependent, a reservation does not guarantee that you will be able to fly.

Once the flight is confirmed, guests will make payment and receive a voucher for the paragliding team. Morning flight times are assigned on the day of the activity.

Directions to the paragliding meeting point will be provided that morning. Transportation to and from the meeting point is not included.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Helmet and harness are provided.

WHAT TO BRING

Athletic clothing and comfortable running shoes are recommended. Guests will need to run during takeoff.

Guests should bring additional Euro cash for their cable car ticket. Optional photo packages may also be available for purchase directly from the paragliding team.

Personal cameras may be used but must be securely attached to the guest.

RESERVATIONS & IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Reservations may be requested in advance online or in person through Alpine Adventures.

Payment is not collected until Alpine Adventures confirms with the paragliding team that flights are operating that day.

Paragliding is extremely weather dependent. Flights, times, season dates, and availability are subject to change or cancellation due to weather and operating conditions.
