Directions To Munich

You can use the following recommendations to program any vehicle navigation system and be confident of arriving at Munich Airport.

To get to the terminal area, enter the following data: Street: Terminalstrasse ; Place: 85445 Oberding

TRAVEL BY CAR

• Turn Left out of the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort

• Turn Right at the light onto Zugspitzstraße

• Follow this main road through Garmisch until it connects with Route 2, which turns into Autobahn A95 / E533 toward Munich

• Continue on A95 toward Munich (the drive is about 40-50 minutes)

• Stay left at the “Y” junction and enter the tunnel

• Enter the Mittlerer Ring, which goes around the city of Munich

• FOLLOW SIGNS TO FLUGHAFEN MÜNCHEN ON A9

• After entering Petueletunnel, take the second exit in the tunnel toward Flughafen München on A9

• A9 changes to A92 toward Passau, Deggendorf, Landschut, and Munchen-Franz-Josef-Strauss

• Exit A92 at Flughafen München in the direction of München-Franz Josef Strauß and Hallbermoos

• Join the St2084

• Follow signs to Terminal 1, Terminal 2 or Car Rental Return

TRAVEL BY DEUTSCHE BAHN TRAIN

• Board the train at platform 1 toward Munich Central Station

• After one hour and thirty minutes, the train will come to its final stop at the Munich Central Station (München Hauptbahnhof)

• Follow signs toward the S-Bahn line (green circle with a white “S” in the middle) and catch the S8 S-Bahn that heads toward the Munich Airport (München Flughafen)

• This train should take approximately 45 minutes to the airport, where it will end.

TRAVEL BY FLIX BUS

• You can book bus transportation on flixbus.de This bus departs from the Garmisch Train Station and goes to the Munich airport with a brief stop in Munich.
